Every now and then, I get the question, “Hey TJ! How do you stay so creative all the time?”
To be honest, I always have a blank mind when someone asks me this. I don’t consider my creativity a loose element in my life. You know, like something you can switch on and off. It’s intertwined in all that I do. However I decided to ponder a bit more about it and see if I do anything strange or weird to stay creative.

Have you ever heard of the Dragons In Wonderland?
For the longest of time, I thought it was a myth. However one day, while I was wandering around, I noticed a little playing card on the ground. As soon as I wanted to pick it up, it flew away. My curiousity was peeked. I mean, why is there a card on the ground in the first place? I approached it again, but before I could reach it, it flew away again. Not completely away though. It stopped a bit further along. I stepped closer and…there it twirled through the air again. I know what you’re thinking and you’re right. I had to follow it. Maybe some of you think

Last week, it occurred to me that I draw a lot of lines.
I’m stating the obvious here. I know. Drawing consists out of being repetitive. Out of drawing lines over and over again. But between you and me, I don’t really think that much while I’m actually drawing or painting. I think before I start and I think when I put down my pencil or brush. In between this, I just create.
